Have you tried to get into the whole J.R.R. Tolkien thing, but secretly found yourself wishing it had more more machine gun fights? Frequent resident of Middle Earth and The Lord Of The Rings star Elijah Wood has heard your pleal, busting out his Frodo voice from the upcoming The Hobbit for his interview on 7 Minutes In Heaven hosted by SNL writer Mike O’Brien. Fake spoiler alert!

“Everyone shut the f— up. There’s hobbits in that tree. On the count of three, lets blast them to hobbit hell!,” the Wilfred actor reads, from a script that seems to be half Hobbit, half Return Of The Jedi, with a splash of Army of Darkness. Declares Wood, “Whelp, Bilbo’s dead, and the rebels have been defeated. This is the end of the movie The Hobbit, okay?” End scene. We would definitely see this in theaters.

Amy Winehouse Had Plans To Adopt A Little Girl?

If this story’s true, then Amy Winehouse‘s untimely death has taken on another very unexpected, sad twist. The Mirror reports that Amy had plans to adopt a little girl from St Lucia and that the process was already underway. 10 year old Dannika Augustine apparently, was well on the road to becoming Amy’s daughter. The details that have been released are quite heartbreaking, with Amy supposedly already having hired lawyers for the adoption. Dannika’s grandmother, Marjorie Lambert, who was responsible for the pair meeting, also says that Winehouse was planning to visit her soon-to-be daughter next week.

Dannika has also spoken out saying, “Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her daughter. She took care of me and we had fun together. I loved her and she loved me. She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.” Amy spent a fair amount in St Lucia over the years considering it her getaway. The photograph above shows the two of them happily strolling on the beach together and we don’t know about you but, this just got a lot more tragic for us.

Snoop Dogg Launches Youth Football In Chicago

CHICAGO, Ill. --

Snoop Dogg says his youth football league isn’t just about teaching kids sports, but about giving them a positive release for their energy and introducing them to role models.

The rapper and actor launched the inaugural season of the Snoop Youth Football League in Chicago on Saturday.

He danced and high-fived his way through the crowd at the Chicago Indoor Sports Facility and seemed intent on meeting all of the 100 kids who showed up.

Snoop Dogg says he started the league to give kids, especially those in high-crime neighborhoods, an outlet. The league is open to youth ages 7 to 14.

The Chicago season will begin in August. The Chicago chapter is a division of the league Snoop Dogg established in California in 2004.

Stars Aim For Bargains At NY Charity-fashion Event

Kelly Ripa, Rachel Zoe and Emma Roberts had their strategies mapped out as they joined other stars on a mission to find the best bargains at a high-fashion shopping event for charity on Saturday.

Celebrities such as Donna Karan, Gayle King and actor Chord Overstreet also attended Super Saturday, which raises money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Jimmy Choo, Theory, Piperlime.com and One Kings Lane were among the 200 brand names that discounted their goods for the cause.

“You have to get a map and plot out the places you want to go,” celebrity chef Katie Lee said. “You have to have a mission and a game plan.”

Lee said she’s scored amazing deals in the past, thanks in part to her hard-core focus: “I got about five Tommy Hilfiger bikinis for about twenty dollars and I still wear them and I love them, and I got cover-ups too.”

Ripa had an alphabetical method to her buying spree, instead of jumping around from designer to designer. Once again acting as a co-host, she was excited to get a chance to shop — something that eluded her last time.

“Last year it did not go my way. I had a wedding to get to, so I was able to do the press line, but by the time I got off the press line, I was ushered into a car to go to the wedding. It was really sad,” she said.

Roberts, who also co-hosted the event, said she was out the lookout for anything by the line Chloe.

Reality star, stylist and new mom Zoe did double duty by hosting a booth, as well as doing some shopping for clients. Zoe said she never has buyer’s remorse over her Super Saturday purchases.

“I think just all of the finds you get and knowing every dollar you spend is for a great cause.”

Miley Cyrus has taken a rather permanent stand in favor of gay marriage, by inking an equal sign onto her finger.

“ALL LOVE is equal,” Miley Tweeted on Friday, along with a picture of her new tattoo.

The bold statement from the 18-year-old former Disney darling quickly caused a flurry of fan responses (not all of which were favorable), prompting Miley to fire back.

“Where does it say in the bible to judge others?” she Tweeted to one of her followers. “Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. ‘GOD is love.’”

This is not the first time the “Party in the USA” singer has voiced her support for LGBT rights.

After Casey Anthony was found not guilty on murder charges, Miley Tweeted, “You know the world is skewed when people get away with murdering children but we cant get gay marriage legalized in the state of California.”

The new tattoo joins Miley’s various other body art, including a heart on her little finger, anchor on her wrist, dreamcatcher on her ribcage, and the words “Just Breathe” on the left side of her chest (in honor of a friend who died of cystic fibrosis).

Vanessa Minnillo married Nick Lachey in a dream wedding on Necker Island on July 15, and now that the couple are husband and wife, Vanessa doesn’t want the wedding wisdom she gathered during the planning process to go to waste!

The 30-year-old “Wipeout” host — whose island ceremony was showcased in a TLC reality special, “Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” on Saturday – took to Twitter to share her top 10 tips for planning the big day.

Here are Vanessa’s tips:

Tip 1:Try on different styles of dresses. Even if u know what u want, it may surprise u. Go for it all & be girly! Most importantly, HAVE FUN.

Tip 2: I Love a “little” splash of color! I had a beautiful bouquet of gloriosa’s, BUT I didn’t put my matron of honor in a fuchsia dress.”

Tip 3: Listen to your groom & have elements of what “he” wants in the Wedding. After all, it’s both of your day. Nick had great suggestions.

Tip 4: A welcome bag w/“personalized” goodies is always nice! We did beach towels w/their names embroidered, & all the beach essentials.

Tip 5: Make sure to take time before the wedding & spend it with ur fiancee. A night with a glass of wine, or a weekend away.

Tip 6: To save money: use venue’s place settings & glassware, but we brought in our personalized linens and chargers for a more custom feel.

Tip 7:If you can, have multi-photographers. We loved Yitzhak Dalal, & he brought 2 others w/him. There’s always more than one angle u want!

Tip 8: Consider weather when planning an outdoor ceremony. The ONE thing I regret is we didn’t have fans or a.c. at the ceremony. #sweating

Tip 9: Do something special for ur fiancee b4 the ceremony, a gift, &/or a hand written card. Let them know how u feel & that u Love them!

Tip 10: HAVE FUN! Once it’s the day of, try ur hardest not to let ANYTHING get in the way. You’ll regret it if u obsess about small stuff!
