Ah…Gale and Peeta are the two male characters in the series. I’ve only read through the end of the 2nd book, but I’m fairly certain that there’s no romantic relationship between those two characters. I believe you mean Katniss and Peeta…or perhaps Katniss and Gale…if that is what you mean, this may be the greatest epic fail I’ve ever seen in a news article…ever.

You should be commended for this gaff. It’s absolutely wonderful.

Emma Stone Rocks Two Cute Outfits, One Great Pair Of Heels

Emma Stone arrived to and departed from the David Letterman Show in two very different outfits yesterday. She arrived in an Azzaro dress and Brian Atwood Venus pumps, which she wore on the show. The actress left the building and chatted with fans in skinny jeans and a casual cream sweater, while still teetering tall in those gorgeous heels. We’re kinda partial to denim, but damn we’ll take those shoes any day. What we wouldn’t give to have them on our feet…or even just to cradle on in our arms for a minute like a little shoe baby. And even former teen (current adult) heart-throbs Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio aren’t immune to his charms! The two senior badasses made light of Taylor’s star power at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual luncheon yesterday in Los Angeles.

“I am sitting at a table with a gentleman who is better looking than you and is in better shape than me,” Marky admitted to Leo while on stage. “So, we’re both out of a job, dude. Taylor Lautner! We’re screwed. It’s over, dude. Titanic and Boogie Nights were a long time ago. I accept it. I had a good run and on to the next.” Leo nodded in agreement and the room roared with laughter. What did the object of the attention think of all this? “It’s so odd,” he told E! Online reporter Marc Malkin. “It’s such an honor. I’m up on the stage and talking in front of people like that? The people that I looked up to my entire life? Hearing words like that from Mark and everybody it’s just really surreal.”

REVIEW: Crazy, Stupid, Love + 10 Crazy, Stupid, Hot GIFs

Whatever genius decided to put Ryan Gosling‘s abs in the final shot of the Crazy, Stupid, Love trailer should reap heavy royalties from this weekend’s box office earnings. Though the all-star cast and sneak peek of funny one-liners will draw audiences out of the heat and into the movie theater, we have a feeling many ladies will be expecting eye candy o’plenty.

While the flick (thankfully) spends no small amount of time glorifying Gosling’s darling mug and perfectly-tailored suits, this smarter-than-your-average rom-com deals with the heavy subject matter of divorce. It had potential to get dark and depressing, but the chemistry of the stellar cast of Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, R-Gos and Emma Stone eased us through it with charm and likability.

The supporting actors gave mostly strong performances, particularly Marisa Tomei as a scene-stealing firecracker. Unfortunately, former America’s Next Top Model contestant Analeigh Tipton stole scenes for the opposite reason. We’ll chalk it up to her rookie onscreen status, but her overacting was at times unbearable. We also cared the least for her creepy older man-loving story line.

Tipton’s superfluous story line aside, Crazy, Stupid, Love. was enjoyable and surprisingly sweet. And while Gosling is one fine piece of man meat, he is proving himself to be an incredibly versatile, talented actor, and with two films out this summer, plus five major projects in the works, he’s not going anywhere. We aren’t complaining.

Marvel’s Captain America last scene is as spoiler-y as you can get, provided any potential audience members actually thought for a second that Cap would be killed by Nazis. No, the real spoiler alert (really, we warn you; it’s an actual spoiler alert) is that in the last scene of the film, Chris Evans‘ Captain America wakes up in modern day New York and finds himself sprinting through Times Square, just in time for the upcoming Avengers movie. Anti-spoiler alert: he is as jacked as he was 70 years ago.

Marvel also leaked the Avengers teaser shown after Captain America‘s credits, complete with Robert Downey Jr.‘s Iron Man and Samuel L. Jackson‘s Nick Fury. Nothing too secret to see there, unless you consider it a secret how Chris Hemsworth’s Thor could possibly get any hotter after seeing him play a Norse god the first time around. Amy Winehouse Found Dead In London

The music community lost a great talent today. Grammy-winning singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment. While the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, Winehouse famously battled drugs and alcohol the last few years of her life. She recently cancelled her European tour after being booed off stage in Serbia and admitting “she cannot perform to the best of her ability.” She was only 27.

Lindsay Lohan Accuser Claims Injuries Required Surgery

We’re not saying we can’t imagine Lindsay Lohan doing some serious damage if she wanted to; the woman’s got a lot of deep-seated rage, plus the speed and dexterity of an enraged spider monkey. However, as with all celebrity lawsuits, we’ll take reports that Betty Ford worker Dawn Holland was injured by Lohan, to the point of needing surgery, with a pinch of salt. After filing a lawsuit against the actress on Friday, Holland’s lawyer Owen McIntosh claims his client allegedly required surgical intervention after she developed De Quervain syndrome, a tendon injury, from Lohan twisting her wrist. The part we find dubious is that Holland’s hand would still connected to her arm at all. Seriously, Lindsay’s guns look like steel cables.

To be fair to both parties, Holland did report being injured soon after Lindsay Lohan’s Betty Ford fight with her, though criminal charges against Lohan were eventually dropped. Meanwhile Lindsay is denying reports that she lost her damn mind, drinking-wise, at a friend’s fete this weekend. “Love how going to a friends birthday turns into a slew of lies! grrr – oh well… happy sunday all,” Lindsay Lohan’s Twitter read last night. And if the rest of the planet is lucky, the only place Lohan growls at us will be on the Internet.

Kat Von D and Jesse James Are Dunzo

After a fairy tale year of romance, tattoos and being “connected on a whole different level,” America’s bad boy/bad girl couple Kat Von D and Jesse James are calling it quits. The couple got together last summer in the aftermath of Jesse’s catastrophic end to his marriage with Sandra Bullock, and were engaged to be married in January. The stated reason for the break-up is that Jesse’s home in Texas is too far away from Kat’s tattoo shop in LA.

“The distance between us was just too much,” James told People Magazine. “I’m so sad because I really love her.” We’d think this could have been sorted out before getting engaged. Silly us.

As for Kat’s response, she took to her Twitter: ”I am no longer w Jesse and out of respect for him, his family and myself, that’s all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.” And just like that, America’s scariest couple is no more.

Amy Winehouse Laid To Rest In London

Amy Winehouse’s funeral was held this morning in London’s Edgewarebury Cemetery, followed by a cremation ceremony at Golders Green Crematorium, attended by family and friend, including Kelly Osbourne and Winehouse’s frequent collaborator and producer Mark Ronson. Amy Winehouse’s autopsy, performed yesterday, proved inconclusive; toxicology tests will take two to four weeks to yield results.

According to TMZ, Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse gave a eulogy during Amy’s service, which was lead by a rabbi and performed in English and Hebrew. Mitch said, in part, “Goodnight my angel … Sleep tight. Mommy and Daddy love you ever so much,” before encouraging the attendants to sing along with the closing song, Carole King‘s “So Far Away,” all of which makes us want to lie down in a dark room and listen to “Tears Dry On Their Own” on repeat for a few more hours.

Jane Lynch helped Jimmy Fallon open the Emmys last year as her iconic “Glee” character, Sue Sylvester, but don’t expect the McKinley High cheerleading coach to have a big presence as the actress hosts the awards show on Sunday, September 18.

“I think a little bit of Sue Sylvester goes a long way,” Lynch told reporters at the Emmy Awards panel as part of the FOX presentation day at the Television Critics Association Summer Session in Beverly Hills on Friday. “There’s some ideas out there for Sue Sylvester, but I think we’ll probably leave her tracksuit on the Paramount lot.”

“If there’s any nod to Sue it will be very minor, because… a little bit of Sue goes a long way,” Emmys Executive Producer Mark Burnett added, echoing Lynch’s words.

Lynch said she’s open to doing “anything that works” when it comes to hosting the Emmys, but she probably won’t head down the path Ricky Gervais took at the most recent Golden Globes.

Amy Winehouse Had Plans To Adopt A Little Girl?

If this story’s true, then Amy Winehouse‘s untimely death has taken on another very unexpected, sad twist. The Mirror reports that Amy had plans to adopt a little girl from St Lucia and that the process was already underway. 10 year old Dannika Augustine apparently, was well on the road to becoming Amy’s daughter. The details that have been released are quite heartbreaking, with Amy supposedly already having hired lawyers for the adoption. Dannika’s grandmother, Marjorie Lambert, who was responsible for the pair meeting, also says that Winehouse was planning to visit her soon-to-be daughter next week.

Dannika has also spoken out saying, “Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her daughter. She took care of me and we had fun together. I loved her and she loved me. She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.” Amy spent a fair amount in St Lucia over the years considering it her getaway. The photograph above shows the two of them happily strolling on the beach together and we don’t know about you but, this just got a lot more tragic for us.

Snoop Dogg Launches Youth Football In Chicago

CHICAGO, Ill. --

Snoop Dogg says his youth football league isn’t just about teaching kids sports, but about giving them a positive release for their energy and introducing them to role models.

The rapper and actor launched the inaugural season of the Snoop Youth Football League in Chicago on Saturday.

He danced and high-fived his way through the crowd at the Chicago Indoor Sports Facility and seemed intent on meeting all of the 100 kids who showed up.

Snoop Dogg says he started the league to give kids, especially those in high-crime neighborhoods, an outlet. The league is open to youth ages 7 to 14.

The Chicago season will begin in August. The Chicago chapter is a division of the league Snoop Dogg established in California in 2004.

Kelly Ripa, Rachel Zoe and Emma Roberts had their strategies mapped out as they joined other stars on a mission to find the best bargains at a high-fashion shopping event for charity on Saturday.

Celebrities such as Donna Karan, Gayle King and actor Chord Overstreet also attended Super Saturday, which raises money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Jimmy Choo, Theory, Piperlime.com and One Kings Lane were among the 200 brand names that discounted their goods for the cause.

“You have to get a map and plot out the places you want to go,” celebrity chef Katie Lee said. “You have to have a mission and a game plan.”

Lee said she’s scored amazing deals in the past, thanks in part to her hard-core focus: “I got about five Tommy Hilfiger bikinis for about twenty dollars and I still wear them and I love them, and I got cover-ups too.”

Ripa had an alphabetical method to her buying spree, instead of jumping around from designer to designer. Once again acting as a co-host, she was excited to get a chance to shop — something that eluded her last time.

“Last year it did not go my way. I had a wedding to get to, so I was able to do the press line, but by the time I got off the press line, I was ushered into a car to go to the wedding. It was really sad,” she said.

Roberts, who also co-hosted the event, said she was out the lookout for anything by the line Chloe.

Reality star, stylist and new mom Zoe did double duty by hosting a booth, as well as doing some shopping for clients. Zoe said she never has buyer’s remorse over her Super Saturday purchases.

“I think just all of the finds you get and knowing every dollar you spend is for a great cause.”

Miley Cyrus has taken a rather permanent stand in favor of gay marriage, by inking an equal sign onto her finger.

“ALL LOVE is equal,” Miley Tweeted on Friday, along with a picture of her new tattoo.

The bold statement from the 18-year-old former Disney darling quickly caused a flurry of fan responses (not all of which were favorable), prompting Miley to fire back.

“Where does it say in the bible to judge others?” she Tweeted to one of her followers. “Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. ‘GOD is love.’”

This is not the first time the “Party in the USA” singer has voiced her support for LGBT rights.

After Casey Anthony was found not guilty on murder charges, Miley Tweeted, “You know the world is skewed when people get away with murdering children but we cant get gay marriage legalized in the state of California.”

The new tattoo joins Miley’s various other body art, including a heart on her little finger, anchor on her wrist, dreamcatcher on her ribcage, and the words “Just Breathe” on the left side of her chest (in honor of a friend who died of cystic fibrosis).

The 30-year-old “Wipeout” host — whose island ceremony was showcased in a TLC reality special, “Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” on Saturday – took to Twitter to share her top 10 tips for planning the big day.

Here are Vanessa’s tips:

Tip 1:Try on different styles of dresses. Even if u know what u want, it may surprise u. Go for it all & be girly! Most importantly, HAVE FUN.

Tip 2: I Love a “little” splash of color! I had a beautiful bouquet of gloriosa’s, BUT I didn’t put my matron of honor in a fuchsia dress.”

Tip 3: Listen to your groom & have elements of what “he” wants in the Wedding. After all, it’s both of your day. Nick had great suggestions.

Tip 4: A welcome bag w/“personalized” goodies is always nice! We did beach towels w/their names embroidered, & all the beach essentials.

Tip 5: Make sure to take time before the wedding & spend it with ur fiancee. A night with a glass of wine, or a weekend away.

Tip 6: To save money: use venue’s place settings & glassware, but we brought in our personalized linens and chargers for a more custom feel.

Tip 7:If you can, have multi-photographers. We loved Yitzhak Dalal, & he brought 2 others w/him. There’s always more than one angle u want!

Tip 8: Consider weather when planning an outdoor ceremony. The ONE thing I regret is we didn’t have fans or a.c. at the ceremony. #sweating

Tip 9: Do something special for ur fiancee b4 the ceremony, a gift, &/or a hand written card. Let them know how u feel & that u Love them!

Tip 10: HAVE FUN! Once it’s the day of, try ur hardest not to let ANYTHING get in the way. You’ll regret it if u obsess about small stuff!

While at the convention last week promoting his upcoming sci-fi thriller In Time, the singer/actor teamed up with Esquire reporter Chris Jones to dole out secretly sexy hugs while dressed as Sesame Street characters. “If you were at Comic-Con yesterday, and you took a picture with a sketchy Bert and Ernie… I was Bert. Justin Timberlake was Ernie,” Jones tweeted afterwards. People probably should have been tipped off when they saw a generic Ernie costume at a sci-fi/fantasy convention. Or when that same Ernie started radiating such intense sexual mojo, any person wearing a sexy Storm Trooper costume lost consciousness.

“His idea. Also had Elmo and Cookie Monster available. We thought Bert and Ernie made for better bonding,” Jones revealed on Twitter. “I would pay good money to see the faces of the teenage girls who had no idea Justin Timberlake’s arm was wrapped around them.” Well, they were probably just happy to have anyone‘s arm wrapped around them. Jon Hamm Will Be Really Handsome on IFC Now

It looks like we’re about to get a double dose of man-god Jon Hamm this January. Not only is it the much anticipated return of Mad Men, but the chiseled actor has a little something extra up his sleeve. Apparently his turns on SNL and in Bridesmaids have whetted his appetite for comedy, and he is joining the cast of David Cross’ The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, set to air its second season on the IFC. The series centers around Cross as a mailroom clerk who talks his way into running an English energy drink cooperation.

No word on the role he’s going to play, but considering the show is also written by Cross, and co-stars his Arrested Development pal Will Arnet, we have extremely high hopes for the show. It’s a shame it’s only six episodes a season! But still there’s more coming up for the Mad Man. He’s reportedly attached to an upcoming Judd Apatow comedy co-starring Melissa McCarthy. What a Hamm! Tarvaris Jackson is getting a scratch

The Seahawks are saying that Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst is on an equal footing. ESPN.com reports Jackson will earn $ 8 million over the next two seasons in Seattle.

It's a better deal than we expected, and it happens to be almost identical to the contract Whitehurst.
